According to official statistics, in 2022 the turnover of goods between the  trade between the United States and China surged to an impressive $690.6 billion. The figures reflect a rise in U.S. imports from China to $536.8 billion in the previous year as a result of increased spending by American consumers on items originating from China, such as toys  and cellphones. At the same time, during the same period, merchandise exports from the US to China’s figure surged to $153.8 billion.
