Moreover, information sources also note that a number of important issues are planned to be discussed at the negotiations, including the terms of a short-term ceasefire in the Gaza Strip , as well as measures for the liberation of captives.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant, are directly involved in these negotiations, as their decisions and leadership will play a key role in reaching consensus and resolving the conflict.

It is emphasized that in order to successfully complete the negotiations, it is necessary to allocate sufficient time to discuss all aspects and improve the proposed agreement. Flexibility and a compromise spirit of the parties are important aspects that will help to find a solution that meets the interests of all parties.

Despite the difficulties and tension of the negotiation process, both sides express their readiness for dialogue and search for constructive solutions. This demonstrates the desire for a peaceful resolution of the conflict and ensuring the safety of residents both in Israel and in the Gaza Strip.

At the same time as the negotiations, work continues to support humanitarian aid efforts and guarantee the essential requirements of the population  especially under the temporary truce. Humanitarian organizations and international actors are actively involved in these processes to ensure the delivery of necessary food, medicine and other vital resources.

Thus, the negotiations in Qatar represent an important step towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict and restoration of stability in the region.

Israel is preparing for a military operation in Rafah: ceasefire negotiations continue

Israel agreed to launch an offensive on the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip, citing the presence of more than a million Palestinian refugees in the region. At the same time, Tel Aviv retains optimism of reaching a ceasefire agreement, despite the rejection of Hamas’s offer to release all hostages in return for freeing Palestinian detainees.

Daniel Hagari, spokesperson for the Israeli military, announced the country’s intention to evacuate Rafah residents who are being relocated to designated “humanitarian zones” in the central Gaza Strip, where approximately 1.4 million individuals reside. This is done before the planned assault on the city. Khagary also announced plans to create humanitarian zones with the support of the “international community” where displaced people would be housed and provided with the resources they need, such as food, water and other essential items.

One high-ranking official pointed out that Israeli leaders are using the potential threat of invading Rafah to exert pressure on Hamas, aiming for a six-week ceasefire agreement that also includes releasing the remaining Israeli hostages.

Officials from the Biden administration have stressed that it is not just Netanyahu who is interested in occupying the southern Gaza metropolis, but that the Israeli government generally supports the idea of a military operation in Rafah.
